Corvette,1953-1962 Static Collectors Improve Radio

These Static Collectors were installed on every Corvette that was equipped with a radio. There were quite a few things that were added to cars at that time, including these static collectors, installed inside of the little dust caps, in the center of the front wheels, under the wheel cover. Notice that they are wound in opposite directions; one to the left and one to the right. They make reproductions of this part, but every one I have seen has NOT been wound like the originals, to the right and to the left. A very well known Corvette Catalog Company offers these same parts under the part number, 571079 for $27.90 each, and the one I saw on one of the web sites was not wound like my originals. The NOS pair that you will receive will be marked, RH and LH. You will also receive a note that states the reason that you hardly ever see a C-1 Corvette with these Static Collectors still installed.
