Classic sports cars of this era often had dealer installed radios and antennas. Many times there is no "right" or "wrong" location for the radio antenna. There may be several locations where antennas can be found on the same model car. This means you should check the dimensions of this antenna before ordering. This is a chrome antenna (actually stainless steel) with a chrome key lock tip. This is a manual antenna. It is not motorized. It closes flush with the top of the fender mount. SEE PHOTO Requires a minimum 19mm - 3/4 inch hole in the fender for mounting with access from underneath A 30 mm-1 1/8 inch round hole needed if not already existing for installation from above the fender. This antenna requires 9 3/4 inches of clearance beneath the fender for the antenna storage tube. It can accept a fender slope of up to 35 degrees. A support bracket is also included but this is not needed.
